Inline Hockey Program (September - December 2026)
Time: Tuesdays, 5:30 - 6:30pm
Location: YMCA KPCC, 22 Gascoigne Road, Jordan, Kowloon
Ages: 8+ | Skill Level: Basic inline/ice skating skills required
Take skating to the next level with the fast-paced world of inline hockey! This action-packed class introduces skaters to the fundamentals of puck handling, passing, and shooting. Through dynamic drills and friendly scrimmages, players develop teamwork, spatial awareness, and quick decision-making on wheels.
What Your Child Will Learn
- Hockey Skating: Master explosive starts, tight turns, and backward skating.
- Stickhandling: Learn control, puck protection, and smooth look-up passing.
- Shooting Mechanics: Practice wrist shots, backhands, and aiming for the net.
- Game Strategy: Understand basic positioning, teamwork, and defensive rules.
Minimum Gear Requirements
- Inline skates.
- Hockey stick.
- Hockey Helmet with cage.
- Hockey gloves, shin guards, and elbow pads.
- Protective cup.
